I started Homesafe because I saw a legitimate need for a company that solved dryer vent problems. Everybody and their dog advertised that they cleaned dryer vents, and I thought it doesn’t seem like anybody really has a good handle on this. As I started Homesafe, I just wanted to do cleaning, dryer vent cleaning. And, I became really good at it but in that process, I saw that the termination hoods on the roofs were often the wrong type; that they were causing the problem. They were routed weird. There wasn’t a really good solution out there, and there wasn’t a company that offered a good solution.
I came across Cliff with InOvate Technologies down in Florida. He introduced me to their products. They all have the same purpose: help dryers run safer and more efficient.

When we go out to the customer’s home, we do our inspection and the first thing we notice behind the dryer is the transition hose they have. Most of the time they’ll either have the flex foil, the semi-rigid or the rigid. We always try to get that changed out to the DryerFlex which is a much better product. It’s more efficient. It’s safer to have back behind the dryer. Once we change that out, it brings the customer peace of mind that they have a better product behind there.

Every dryer vent job is a little different. We’ve been cleaning, repairing, rerouting dryer vents for almost a decade. It’s really important to have the right products on your vans so you can get the job done while you’re there. It doesn’t take a second or third trip to finish any job, so we keep a stocked van and a stocked warehouse.
